Finding acting work
Tue, 27 June 2000, 01:20 amI am a British actress who is moving to Australia later in the year with my Ozzie partner. I was hoping that someone might be able to offer me some advice on where to start finding acting work in Australia, preferably in the theatre but also film and TV too. Are there any useful publications that I could subscribe to, and how do I find out who are the reputable agents?
Too many questions, I know! Where would be the best territory to move to for the widest selection of work?

Move to Sydney or Melbourne. There isn't much in the way of professional acting work anywhere else in Australia. I'll have to leave the publications and agents part of the question to people from NSW and Vic. Good Luck and enjoy Australia.

I'm living in the states but I was born in Australia and I was wondering if it was easier starting off here and then going to the states if so please send me info.
