Spring Petanque & Picnic Day
Tue, 4 Aug 1998, 11:57 amThe grounds of the historic Olivers Music Hall at 20 Meadow St Guildford will be the venue for an OPEN DAY for le Club Clochemerle de Petanque on SUNDAY 13th SEPTEMBER from 11am to 4pm. PETANQUE - French Boule the game for all the family is rapidly growing in popularity in Australia & this is your opportunity to try your luck at playing or you can just enjoy watching the games. Experienced players will be on hand to demonstrate & coach as required. There is no charge for this OPEN DAY. Dress is very casual & you're invited to bring your picnic lunch & drinks as it's a VERY SOCIABLE game. As the grounds are to be used for the games - please park at the colonial gaol & Courthouse (just 2 doors from Olivers)just off the roundabout at the intersection of Swan & meadow Sts in Guildford.
