HELP- Stage jewellery supplies.

Hi all, Does anyone out there have any suggestions of any avenues to either hire or purchase stage (ie: fake) jewellry? My next project requires a very large emerald necklace as part of the props/wardrobe requirements? Thanks, El

You could try some of the el-cheapo shops like Red Dot or the Reject Shop. you may have to look several times as their turnover of stuff seems to be fairly rapid. sometimes the various recycling shops, ie Salvos, Vinnies etc have interesting bits and pieces.

Target often have "jewellry" cheaply too

If you go to spotlight, you can get massive 'gems' in all sorts of colours/shapes. These can then be turned into jewellery. If your looking for something specific such as a necklace with a massive emerald necklace might be easier to make it? :)

There are lots of stores in the City that sell affordable 'costume' jewellery for the younger crowd...you might find what you need at one of those!! I'm especially thinking of Lovisa in the Hay St Mall (near the cnr of William and Hay) but other stores such as Diva (also on Hay St), might be helpful too! Belinda W

Hi mate try ebay you will be surprised what can be found there at a good price too I got some Dr Who stuff for my play fairly cheap
