LAST CHANCE TO AUDITION: Old Mill Theatre Companies Production of 'Flesh Wounds'
Mon, 12 Dec 2011, 01:26 pmLast Chance to Audition for Old Mill Theatre Company's Production of
'Flesh Wounds'
Written and Directed by Jessica Messenger
We've seen a lot of amazing talent so far, but had a lot of cancellations and no shows. (No doubt due to the proximity of the silly season). So we are throwing tonight's session open. If you are keen come down to the Old Mill (cnr of Mends st and Mill Point rd South Perth) between six-thirty and nine-thirty. Bring a monologue if you have one, a guitar if you've got a song to sing, or just your talented little self to do a cold reading.
Roles Available:
JACOB: 20-30, busker living on the streets. Charming, roguish and a bit rough around the edges. Must be an excellent guitarist and singer. (This by the way is also a really fantastic role)
CAMERON: 30 (stage age). Right wing, conservative Christian struggling to come to terms with his repressed homosexuality, and the effect this will have on his spiritual beliefs and his relationship with his equally conservative family.
PAUL: 30-40, Cafe owner, attractive, confident and very sure of himself. Plays Cameron's love interest in the play.
KAYLA: 18-24 (stage age). Young, pregnant and unemployed Kayla can be warm, friendly and a little ditzy, but she has a fiery temper and a stubborn streak.
TARA: 25-30, Quirky with a very cheeky and sarcastic sense of humour, Tara is Cameron's kids sister.
