Perth Short Film Auditions

‘KEEPER’, a short film being shot in Perth this February is looking to fill the following roles: LUCIAN Lead Protagonist Male aged 26 – 32 The picture of a stereotypical young adult caught in the dailies of work and the dissatisfaction in life that he so portrays. He is ambitious and will not settle for anything less than the best and hence to live up to his own expectations is both his boon and bane. His core traits are his ambition, his impatience and his self centeredness. MIKAELA Female aged 21 – 23 Mikaela suffers from insecurity and longs to belong. She carries herself loosely and her goals in life are often short term and unambitious. However, under her hardened deameanor she is a gentle girl who does not seek to harm anyone. Her core traits include her insecurity, her dependency, her restlessness, her tantrum throwing, attention seeking ways and her gentleness. ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS LUCIAN’S FATHER One male actor to play a character at two different ages roughly 20 years apart. Late 20’s – early 30’s and late 40’s - early 50’s. Younger actor preferred. YOUNG LUCIAN Boy aged 7 – 12 LUCIANS MOTHER Female late 20’s NURSE Female 20’s to 30’s Additional extras also required of all ages and sexes.
