Hello. If you require a white Australian male aged in the 50s demographic for your short films or feature films with minimal or no dialogue acting parts, then I would be available. I would also be available as an extra. Should you require voice over or voice character for your animation/still capture projects, please email me the part of the script you would like me to read, and I will email you back the sample recording (mp3) for your consideration. I can always be contacted at this email (georgetaylortomic "at" georgetaylortomic.com). I'm most interested in the Art Film, Film Noir and Cult Film genre. I prefer to be involved with film students and independent productions. Those who create minimal/non-dialogue short films; letting the lighting, setting, natural sounds and minimal mood music do all the communication. I'm not the sort of person who has stars in their eyes. Australian Idol/Neighbours makes me vomit. I couldn't care less about being part of the next 'blockbuster'. Death In Brunswick (1991), Sunday Too Far Away (1975) and Samson and Delilah (2009)are on my favourites list. I'm the person in this video... ( http://www.youtube.com/newtoolsformonkeys#p/u/19/OupNHrLg3nQ ). I have been cast in a variety of student short films (student assignments) over the past 20 years with minimal and no dialogue parts, and as an extra. I would say that I am an amateur actor. I have been involved in media and the arts for 30 years and have a very good understanding of the process and procedures of filmmaking. Details: Caucasian Australian male. Height – 175cm (about 5’ 8”). Build – Medium. Eye Colour – Hazel/Brown. Hair Colour – Dark brown with grey. Shirt Size – L to XL. Shoe Size – 9. Thank you to those who have emailed me scripts, please continue to do so...I appreciate it very much. There are certainly excellent writers out there. http://www.georgetaylortomic.com

Edit and Update

I noticed your edit and just wanted to point out that the main point to my intial reply was the very first statment in the link I provided.

"Nobody on this site can give you work. If they have roles available, they will be advertised here, or elsewhere. Big name directors and producers don't visit this site, and won't read your work wanted ad. So if you think by posting two sentences about how you want to get into the industry is going to work; it's not."

This site has a bias towards Community Theatre, and in effect Am Film/TV productions. As far as I am aware it is not used legitmately as a recruiting source for professional work, although we have had a few Overseas Con-artist Attempts that look like recruiting. The chances that your post will attract the kind of attention I assume you are looking for is slim.

I guess I could have stated this intially and apologise for any mis-understandings.

Incidentally, I did watch some of your video work prior to my first post to try and understand where you were coming from better.

That's fine Jeff, I do

That's fine Jeff, I do appreciate your reply. I see the 'moving picture' as an art form, though, commerce seems to dictate what is accepted as being a good film; it's all about how much it will make on the first day of release.
