Melbourne Fringe: Spacerella

Spacerella Conquers the Heavens Spacerella, our unitard clad heroine, blasts off not to physical space but metaphysical space. She must rescue Earth from rips in reality caused by war between the green and violet aliens. She is assisted by a Tiki god and Karl Leckie, a man who is unwittingly astral travelling and sent to her by Angel Central. Yes, it's weird, surreal, and funny. This romp involves puppets, balloon sculpting, song, dance, and a pantoesque scifi vibe. We are looking for one person to play both Karl Leckie and the puppet Zorax Evil Space Frog. This will have a season of one to two weeks at Melbourne Fringe Festival and perhaps go onto the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and/or Edinburgh Fringe.
