Call for Emerging & Professional Writers

Producers are calling for professional and emerging writers to submit original short works for a brand new, theatre festival The Colour Blind Project @ Tap Gallery Theatre, 30th June – 10th July 2010. The Colour Blind Project is a curated festival celebrating independent, innovative and new works for performance in order to showcase the diverse pool of multi-cultural talent in Australia. We are looking for works that are robust and cover a range of styles and genres. Duration: 5 to 20 minutes and can vary from monologues, musical acts, comedy pieces, short scenes or short plays. Adaptations of classical texts will also be considered. If you are interested in submitting a movement piece please contact us directly to discuss your work. Your short work must be an original response to “HALFWAY”.
