Experience Wanted

I am looking at getting into some volunteer work in the technical components of theatre and shows in perth. i dont have any qualifications in this area. but i do have some experience from school
i am a keen sailor and boater, plus a barman, waiter and a cook.
i love music and the stage. i play guitar and i can sing (not at the same time :) but have never performed
i am looking at getting into it wherever i can

Roughly where in Perth are you based? There are A LOT of theatre companies around the area that are always looking out for new tech crew, and if you have a Bar Operator Licence (or what-ever they are) I think you will find a few clubs asking you to help out there also.

well i work for captain cook cruises operated out of barrack st
i live down near fremantle
can basically get around anywhere in perth
and yea got my responsible service of alcohol cert and all that jazz :D

Marty, if you want to help out someone who is starting from scratch (again), get in touch with Harbour Theatre. They have been tossed out of their old digs, and are currently looking for as many hands on deck as they can get to bump into their new premises.
