Here is your opportunity to kick it into the new year with a summer acting intensive that is bound to blow the hangovers away and get you going in 2010. Only limited spaces available.
Edward Nelson is coming over from London's C Company
ensemble theatre to deliver a workshop based on the work of Sanford
Meisner. Having put on 10 shows in the last year alone, they are
interested in making live performances as exciting and engaging as
possible. As a teacher, Edward seeks to support actors over their
edges with his intimate, open and relaxed quality and give people a
solid technique to act from.
Dates: Monday-Friday, 11th - 15th January, 2010
Times: 10am-4:30pm
Location: Abbotsford Convent (Arts, Cultural and Learning Precinct), Abbotsford, Melbourne
Cost: $325
This course will help you:
· act more truthfully and courageously
· give you an edge in auditions
· improve your confidence and self-knowledge
· enhance your playing range, spontaneity and presence
Based on the work of Sanford Meisner, this acting course offers special tools to create dynamic performances. The course is open to anyone, from new actors through to established professionals who want to develop their acting technique. Recognising the craft of acting & the unique gifts each person brings to the work. This course gives anyone interested in acting a strong foundation to draw on - as well as being a bucket-load of fun!
