Older Male Wanted For a Short Film

Dancing Chicken Films is seeking a male actor, thirty-five to fifty years in appearance, who is available for filming for a few days in January 2010. The film will be about twenty to thirty minutes in duration, and will be entered at MIFF, as well as various other short film festivals nation-wide. Our company is comprised of a number of committed individuals, who take the art form and the business very seriously. However, the film stands as our first major undertaking, and as such, we are not at liberty to offer recompense. The character being casted for is a man who has lost his family. The film depicts the way he deals with an event in which his canine companion gets hit by a car and severely wounded. The film’s style could be described as experimental, and will offer the actor an exigent experience.
