Seeking lighting gury for christmas production
Wed, 21 Oct 2009, 09:55 pmSeeking man or woman who can do all sorts of trickery with lighting gadgets. The ability to strike dead the lead actor with a bolt of lightning through the scone will be highly regarded, as will someone who wants to have the freedom to DO the lighting rather than be told HOW TO to do the lighting.
What have you got to deal with? The same easy gig as the set designer, fourteen scenes, from coffee shop, to lounge setting, to different lounge setting, to the shops, and back to the coffee shop, and then the lounge setting, and then the garden, and then the beach, and then fishing by the river, and then back to the shops again. How easy's that? Oh and did I mention that we want Christmas Trees with lights flashing (on the beach, and by the river..not really, but in other places we do want Christmas Trees)and a big billboard that lights up in the background (that's the one the set designer who we haven't got as yet, is going to build and design).
What a gig. Legend status awaits you. Join the 'in sane' crew now, and life will never be the same.
PS: Straightjackets will be in vogue in years to come, mark my words! and ALIS can proudly say that we got their first.
