AUGUST & SEPT AUDITIONS FOR CONCERT 31st OCTOBER: SEEKING 2 TENORS & 1 BARITONE FOR A CONCERT AT A BEAUTIFUL, HISTORIC, STATE-OF-THE-ART THEATRE ON OCT 31ST 2009. Ensemble cast of professional-level female singers (volunteers) is already in rehearsals. Now we need male singers to realise the artistic concept. Jazz and/or opera singers sought. Think Michael Buble meets Pavarotti. Fred & Ginger, Billy Holiday, and some opera classics in the second half of the concert. The show has great audience appeal. Opportunity to perform live with a very talented, dedicated cast of singers & instrumentalists, some of whom have performed with Opera Australia, The Song Company and Pacific Opera. Entrepreneur producer, director and singer is funding her own show & seeks volunteers. No $ payment provided but artistic satisfaction, great publicity and another performance notch on your CV will be your reward. The show will be videoed and a DVD will be provided to each performer that is licenced for private use only - copyright owned by the producer/director. Each performer will also be provided with one complimentary ticket to the show. Rehearsals will be held on the weekend or in the evening - it is expected there will be one rehearsal per week and more may be required when it gets closer to Oct 31st.
