costume maker, costume designer

I am a very experienced costume maker and designer (over 20 years experience). I am available for one-off commissions and/or ongoing productions. I also make special occasion dresses/costumes for private clients. I specialise in bespoke garments using clients' design, or my own design or pictures as inspiration. Work can include details such as beading, pleating, period techniques (cartridge pleating, boning etc). I can design and make completely original and unique wedding dresses and bridal party garments. I work with clients in person, or negotiate through email/telephone, and then do final fittings in person. I also have experience as a set designer and painter, and as a prop maker.
