Looking To Hire Studio In Melbourne For Low Budget Music Video

Hi Guys, New to this forum, was lookig through and saw the b2b films studio for hire. Unfortunately they are not in Victoria. I am looking to film a low budget music video in a studio thats got lighting. It doesnt need to be a green screen studio as the backgrounds in the clip will be white and some black. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated.

Try checking the similar entries block on the right side of this website (when viewing this thread). I see two other threads that advertise in Victoria. You can also do a search on this site; go to the 'Creative Spaces' page of the City of Melbourne's website (they list venues/studios for hire around Melbourne); try ACOPA, www.acopa.com.au. I'm sure there will be plenty more that turn up if you do a search. You might also want to visit film sites (Film Vic again, comes to mind), like Screen Hub, etc. This site is predominantly theatre-based, and as such has less info for film makers. Hi Na, Thank you very much for that info it has helped. I have emailed Acopa and hopefully they get back to me. Their home page image is perfectly in line with the style of shots we are after. I was hoping to see more of the interior but there was no gallery, so I will wait for them to contact me so I can pop in. From your experience do you know if they also include their lighting with the venue hire? Thanks very much.

I'm familiar with their space, but not of their lighting. You can download their pdf file which has info in it on what's included in the hire. I do know that the owner supports and works with film makers on a regular basis, so they should at least have some connections in terms of equipment hire.
