The Importance of Being Earnest
Director: Lara Kerestes
After the success of A Squeaky Cabaret (2008) and Hilary Bell’s Wolf Lullaby (2008), the artistic team who brought you the sell out season of Cabaret (2007) and Bombshells (2006) having formed Squeaky Floor Productions, in order to create and promote innovative theatre, and are NOW looking for actors to be involved in their first production.
CASTING
John (Jack)Worthing: a bachelor in love with Gwendolen; adopted when he was very young.
Algernon Moncrieff: a bachelor and first cousin of Gwendolen; nephew of Lady Bracknell.
Lady Bracknell
Hon. Gwendolen Fairfax: daughter of Lady Bracknell
Cecily Cardew: granddaughter of Thomas Cardew and ward of Jack Worthing
Miss Laetitia Prism: Cecily’s governess.
Reverend Canon Chasuble: Rector of the Church near Jack’s country house.
Lane/Merriman: Algernon’s manservant/Jack’s butler.
AUDITIONS
Saturday 1st of August @ 10am-2pm
Sunday 2nd of August @ 2pm - 8pm
Tuesday 4th of August @ 6pm –10pm

You MUST bring a Headshot (these need only be small) and a brief one page Bio/CV to the audition.
NB: You do NOT need to prepare a piece for the audition.
