Stolen Moments * TONIGHT
Thu, 25 June 2009, 02:36 pmCariad Productions presents 'Stolen Moments'.
Last show of the month tonight.
Come and see short scenes fro some wonderful scripts, written for stage, sreen and TV.
416 Brunswick St (above Palookaville)
Tickets sold on the door
Call if you have any questions, or just for a chat... 0425884202
We'd love to hear your thoughts afterwards.
We really want this project to grow and grow, so that writers can get their scripts out there and actors can experience a real workshop/collaboration process through to performance. It's a great chance to network, and also to see what's currently being written.
It's a really interesting night with a great selection of pieces from touching and comical, confronting and heart wrenching.
No three hour epics here. Short scenes one after the other and finished in an hour.
Last night went splendidly, people went away wanting more, precisely what theatre should be!
We didn't get the numbers we should be getting, because we're still at that fledgling stage...people are reluctant to come and see New Things. It's so frustrating. We're trying to create a platform to get projects moving, but we need your support.
Sorry to sound Pluggy/Ranty...I'm just passionate!
Best Wishes,
Rebecca Jo
