Dear users, This is an announcement for those who have expressed interest in participating in the production "It's Dark Underground" (working title). The production over the past months has grown to encompass 50 shooting locations, and an overall cast and crew of over 150 people (this includes bit parts and extras). As there is a high availability of positions in the production there is an opportunity for many who apply to be given a position in the project. Therefore we encourage all who have an interest in being involved in a feature length production to apply (even if they may not feel the character descriptions fit their profile). The interview/auditions will take place from the 13th - 20th of June and will be held at the following venue: http://www.thesubstation.org.au/index.xhtml Public transport to this location is via the Newport train station and bus stop on Mason Street, Newport. http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au/stop/view/19994 As of Monday the 1st of June, Mae Magno, the project manager, will be contacting applicants directly via email or phone to schedule them in for an interview/audition. She will also be providing preparation material for those who will be attending. Applicants who have registered their interest on the MyProductionPortal forum will be given first choice in selecting the interview times. Each interview/audition will be 20 minutes and will be tightly scheduled to allow everyone who has applied an opportunity to discuss the project and present their work. We would like to express that the interview process is both for cast and crew, but will vary according to the respective requirements. Both cast and crew are encouraged to bring along media (DVDs, videotapes, computer files, photos, etc) to best illustrate their work.
