Actress required to play Katherine of Aragon for one act play about 'Bloody Mary'

Henry Lawson Theatre in Penrith, west of Sydney, NSW, is looking for an actress to play the role of Katherine of Aragon in a one act play titled ‘Bloody Mary’ written by Anthony Stirling-Edgar. A shortened version of the play was performed in the wildcards section of the 2009 Short and Sweet Short Play Festival and won the people’s choice award on the day of its performance. The actress would have to be in their 40-50s, have dark hair and look or could pass as Spanish. The play will be performed 17th July – 1st August and the work is unpaid. Please be advised that the auditions will be taking place this week 30th March – 5th April and the rehearsals will take place on weekends (either a Saturday or Sunday, depending on cast availability)
