Lead Acting Roles- Male and Female

Contempovision Films, locally based production company, are currently looking for a female and a male actor to take the lead roles in our independent short film to be shot on Super 16mm. Applicants should ideally have experience in acting for film and/or theatre but this is not necessary. Fractured By Lies deals with the consequences of the increasing isolation in this modern era. To be shot in various locations around Perth, this film follows three main characters as their lives intersect. Please note: Applicants will need to have an Indian (or similar) background to fill the female role. PREMILIA: An Indian woman who has moved to Australia and is raising her young daughter. She is currently caught in bureaucratic negotiations with Immigration, attempting to allow her parents to join her in Australia. We are looking for Indian/Australian women between 25 and 35. BRUCE: An orchardist who has gradually watched the effects of drought ravish his crops. To add to his worries the bank has threatened him with foreclosure. Pushed to the limit, Bruce decides to take matters into his own hands. We are looking for Australian men between 40 and 60. Applicants should be free on Monday 6th April/ Tuesday 7th April 2009.
