LOOKING FOR INTERVIEWEES FOR DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM
My name is Byron Lester and I am a Geelong filmmaker-
A documentary feature film is being filmed in Geelong in March –
The documentary feature will be submitted to the “2009 Toronto International Film Festival.”
The documentary is a series of interviews on how people of different nationalities think and feel about the world today.
70 people interviewed - of every age group, demographic and nationality possibly –
Each person is asked the ten questions about how they think and feel about the world today -
We are looking for people to interview for the documentary.
Each interviewee receive a professional credit in the film.
Each interviewee will be asked ten questions –
Each interview will be of approx ten minutes in duration -
Shoot Dates: 7th March 2009
Location: The Mercure Hotel
Time: 2pm - 8pm
Shoot Dates: 14th March 2009
Location: The Youth Court House
Time: 9am - 5pm

Title: STATE OF THE WORLD
Log Line: A documentary look at how people think and feel about the world today.
Duration: 60 - 70 minutes

• Style: People talk straight to camera.
• People sit on simple chair.
• Look straight into camera.
• Simple black curtain as back drop behind.
• People of every age group, demographic and nationality.
• 70 people interviewed.
• People from every continent represented in the world.
• Interviewees to receive no prompting.
• Interviewees answers honestly, from the heart and mind.
(1) What ‘issue’ worries you the most about the world today?
(2) Do you think the world is becoming a better or worse place?
(3) Do you think violence around the world is growing?
(4) Do you think the problem of famine and starvation around the world has grown smaller or larger?
(5) Do you think ‘wars’ around the globe are growing in number?
(6) Do you think Governments are doing enough to solve the world’s environmental problems?
(7) If you could end anything in the world today. What would it be? Poverty, war, famine or the bad health of the environment?
(8) Do you feel positive or pessimistic about the world?
(9) Do you feel positive or pessimistic about the future?
(10) If you could give the Leaders of the World one message. What would it be?
