COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE THIS WEEKEND

Access All Comedy presents their next series of Commedia dell'Arte workshops! These workshops are ideal for actors and those wanting to enhance their stage acting skills! These workshops breakdown Commedia dell'Arte history, characters, myths and more. Learn specific gestures, walks, movement and voices of the traditional characters and how they interact with each other. These workshops are very interactive and offer lots of support. Trainers are experts in their field, having studied and performed in Italy. Both workshops are very hands on, you will be moving for the majority of the time! Commedia Lv1 08.30: Registration / Payment 09.00: History / Warm up 09.30: Servants 10.15: Lovers 11.00: Canovacci rehearsal 11.30: Canovacci performances & feedback 12.00: Finish Commedia Lv2 12.30: Registration / Payment 1pm: Warm-up 1.20: Capitano walks & postures 2.20: La Signora & Pedrolino (physicality/walks) 2.40: Basic Slapstick and interaction between these characters. 3.10: Canovacci rehearsal (possibly including lovers & servants) 4pm: Canovacci performances 4.30: Feedback / presentation of certificates Time & Value of the classes: Lev1: 8:30am-12:00pm - $60 / $50conc Lev2: 12:30pm-5:00pm - $70 / $60conc Special Offer: All those who already participated in our Lv1 workshops can refresh their skills at our next Lv1 workshop for only $10. -To secure your place a $20 non-refundable deposit per workshop is required by Thursday 19th February. -If you are taking advantage of our refresh offer (available to all participants who have already attended a Lv1 workshop) please only pay the $20 deposit. We recommend this is done electronically as it is a secure and easy method. The remainder will need to be paid in cash on the day.
