VOLUNTEER HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTIST NEEDED FOR TROPFEST '09 SHORT FILM
Wed, 3 Dec 2008, 04:15 pmI need a hair and makeup artist who's willing to work unpaid for a tropfest '09 student film. You'll be fully credited and you'll get a copy of the film to add to your showreel. Should the film be selected, this will be your chance to get some excellent exposure at the world's largest short film festival.
SYNOPSIS:
It’s the spring of 1851. The sun is shining, a calm zephyr is blowing, flowers are blooming.
And people are dying.
Two inspectors set out to pay a visit to an old sociopathic hermit in his cottage miles deep into a secluded forest. He’s a poison-maker, well known by the women of high society who frequent his hut in order to exchange sexual favours for a special, untraceable elixir only available in spring. The inspectors believe that, although he isn’t directly associated with the murders that occur in the bourgeois courts, the best way to solve the problem is to get to the root of it and put the old man away for good. Their fatal visit proves that before we set out to cleanse society, we must first start with those closest to us...

Hi!
Hi, I'd be interested in working on a film with you if the position is still available. I'm 27 years old. I am very creative and have been in the industry for ten years and had my own salon for three of those years. I have been busy doing 'session styling' (magazine work) for a new W.A magazine that is being released this may called "FASHNiTA". This is show casing WA's relatively untapped (until now) talent in the fashion industry photographers/stylists etc. I also do port folio work and countless weddings and functions. The last show I was involved in was "Fashionably Festive" at the Perth Town Hall.
I am very interested to get some experiance in the film industry as that is ultimately where I see my career heading.
If you are interested in having a meeting please call me any time on, -0404696344

Still Available?
Hi, Just wondering if this role was still available. I'm a qualified make up artist currently working on a small budget film that is set to wrap up in a couple of weeks.
I want to get as much experience as possible in the film industry and am very interested in this if it is still available.
Thanks
Sam
