Given that amateur groups and schools are increasingly self-sufficient in lighting equipment and because of this, that side of the business is decreasing while the drapes, staging and sound are increasing. I have decided to sell off a large amount of conventional light stock, dimmers and control, so if you have a wish list of gear you need to build up your inventory now is the time to contact me about some very cheap packages, afterwards I will simply auction off the rest. david@allthingstheatre.net.au

We might be interested

We might be interested David, after the Grant farce instigated by our City Council, getting involved & taking over the reigns of the Grant application. Then dropping us in it, by saying they were far too busy & leaving me 4 hours to knock up the application. Thanks to the good offices & assistance of Elizabeth Spencer DCA, who helped me scrabble it together in time to at least have them to courier it in for me?
{also for calming me down, before I had my 6th stoke!}
 I was stupid enough to let our Local Gov get involved, but seeing they had apparently mysteriously misplaced the $50,000 equipment budget for the theatre refurbishment? There was not a lot of options.
I must have been as thick as two short planks & at least twice as dense!
I have since been assured they had it post marked instead of using their courier. I should have took to DCA myself, but Friday afternoon & trying to park in the City, I doubt that would have worked in time.
 Ah well we will just rig up the empty venue & cobble together enough to do shows, like we have done before. So as the old song goes "San fairy Anne?"
