Okay girls! Our search for a good man has proved fruitless (that may not be any surprise to some of you), so it's over to you. A lad in sane productions require (somwhat urgently as it happens)an actor to play a lead role in our forthcoming one act play / production (Grim's Furry Tales - Old Mill Theatre August 2008). The part was originally written to suit a male dwarf (keep reading please) alas, none can be found locally. So our next step was to re-write the part to suit a shortish male actor, age 25-45. Unfortunately, to date we have had nil responses, not to be beaten, we're opening up this role for a female who might like the challenge of taking on this fun role. suit a male dwarf

I offered to audition for the role of a bikie but didn't even get a look in. You pre-cast that arrogant prick Greg Ross instead. Playing the part of a dwarf is admittedly a difficult one, but not beyond the dedicated method actor. Even though I am 186 cm tall, I believe I can pull it off. If you don't give me an audition, I will dob you in to the Equal Opportunities Commission!-) Ssstinger>>>

Dear oh dear, Peter . . . I

Dear oh dear, Peter . . . I do hope your above comments are in jest. I was present for the read-through with Greg and we were also expecting to see you on the day, but you didn't show. Whether or not there was some kind of communication hitch, I couldn't say, but if you really feel you could pull off the dwarf role, then I'm sure John, and I especially, would be most grateful because, frankly, we're held up from making any progress and time marches on. I would hope though, that we wouldn't have to keep you and Greg apart for fear of bitterness and bloodletting! I hope you and I are still friends, too. Tim.
