Call for Actors and Musicians

Looking for experienced actors and musicians for West Australian Premiere of Patrick van der Werf’s Presence. Synopsis Molly Kaufman is taking in a new boarder, Sam, a young man infected with a lust for life, dreaming of freedom and a car. Molly's son, Jake, has been witness to intense betrayal in his childhood; his mother is still a haunted woman. Penny, who is drawn into their lives, wakes up each morning to evil standing at the foot of her bed. The lives of these flawed but lovable characters cross in the shared confines of the boarding house, while inhabiting the complex region of each other's inner worlds and fears. Presence is collaboration by acclaimed Director, Bruce Denny, and Producer of So Frenchy Productions, Claire French. In a West Australian Premiere, Presence is set to a soundtrack composed by a mini-orchestra made up of musicians hand plucked from rock, jazz and classical disciplines.
