Drama Teachers of Perth - Please Read

Dear Drama Teachers of Perth,
Planning for second term this year?
I am a fourth year Drama and Teaching student Curtin University who is looking for a school where I can teach 8 classes with a Drama teacher in semester two this year. These classes will allow me to collect information for both a research and a assessment unit which I am doing. The school, students and your good self would remain anonymous for ethical reasons.
Four of these classes would involve applying some of Stanislavsky's processes to a script that students are starting to rehearse. Namely given circumstances and objectives. I would like to try this with year 10s if possible. I think covering these processes in year 10 will help students in upper school when they are doing Stanislavsky again. They will already have prior knowledge to build upon and will be able to develop his methods more effectively. However if this is not possible I will be happy to apply these processes with upper school students.
The other four classes would involve students learning about Laban's theory of Movement, applying it in short solo improvisations and organising a physical theatre improvisation in small groups. This class i can take with any year group which you think would be best.
If you think that these classes may be able to fit in with yours during second term this year please email me at kezz@iinet.net.au. I would be most grateful. I can send you a copy of my project plans for you to look over or alternatively respond to this topic for any more information.
Yours sincerely,
Kerri-Anne Head
