QUEEN STREET STUDIO is proud to present the latest installment to their successful peer-to-peer professional development training program “TOOLKIT”. TOOLKIT is an affordable, non-profit program that exists for Sydney’s independent performing arts community. Lead by some of Sydney’s most inspired and experienced artists, TOOLKIT aims to provide a great environment for trying out new ideas, developing new approaches and making new contacts with a diverse cross-section of our artistic community. The program is open to members and non-members of QUEEN STREET STUDIO from all artistic disciplines and is delivered in monthly sessions (4-week blocks) on Wednesday evenings from 6–9pm @ Queen Street Studio - Level 2, 12-16 Queen St Chippendale. A: GETTING BACK TO BASICS WHILE MOVING FORWARD Contributing artist: Chris Ryan Wednesday 5, 12, 19 and 26 of March 2008 (Registration & payment deadline: 27 February) B: DROP THE AGENDA Contributing artist: Angela Hill Wednesday 9, 16, 23 and 30 of April 2008 (Registration & payment deadline: 2 April 2008) C: ON YOUR FEET Contributing artist: Kate Gaul Wednesday 7, 14, 21 and 28 of May (Registration & payment deadline: 30 April 2008) TOOLKIT is a program that has been subsidised by Queen Street Studio... with all fees going directly to paying the guest artist and for the use of the space.
