Male Actor in his mid-to-late 20’s Urgently Needed
Fri, 5 Oct 2007, 04:58 pmA student film production at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) is looking for a male actor to act in a short film.
Brett is a musician who lives for making music. He’s an easy-going, relaxed guy who doesn’t like conflict. He has a very laid-back approach to life; he trusts things will work out as long as he trusts his instincts. Unfortunately, pursuing his musical interests means that he can be a bit lazy when it comes to dealing with the more mundane aspects of life. Brett is a good natured and jovial guy who enjoys meeting new people and having long discussions on a variety of topics. Lately, he has been trying to form a friendship with his new house mate but hasn’t really made much progress yet because she seems to be really upset, nervous and preoccupied. This is starting to give Brett second thoughts about agreeing to her moving in with him but he hasn’t given up all hope on a friendship yet and is still trying to get along with her.
Unfortunately, this is an unpaid role but we will supply you with copies of the finished product on both DVD and DV Tape for use in your showreel.
This is a one-day shoot, scheduled for the 20th of October. We would also like to arrange some time for rehearsals. The production is based in Sydney and we plan to shoot in the inner west.
