Audition Tour - Tokyo Disney Resort - Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney

Disney’s Casting Directors will be holding auditions in BRISBANE, MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY for the next round of contracts for the Tokyo Disney Resort.
Tokyo Disney Resort is seeking performers for their 2008 Winter/Spring Contracts. $590 USD - $930 USD per week (depending on role and show), Per Diem, Round trip travel, private apartments, 5 day a week schedule, and the chance to experience 7 months in one of the world's most fascinating and vibrant cities. Rehearsals take place in Tokyo and begin in early 2008. Contracts run approximately 7 months.
All applicants must be 18 years of age, and willing to relocate to Tokyo for the terms of their individual contract. Please bring a non-returnable photo and resume. All auditions begin at the times listed; please arrive early to register.
SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:
MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS:
'One Man's Dream' - Seeking 9 men and 9 women. All dancers must be trained in both ballet and jazz with a strong musical theatre style presence. Male dancers must portray either handsome Princes or Peter Pan. Female dancers must portray beautiful Princesses or Wendy.
'Mystic Rhythms' - Seeking 6 men. All male dancers must be athletic with nice physiques. Specifically looking for Latin or African American men. No ballet required.
'Under the Sea' - Seeking 9 female dancers to portray "Ariel" from 'The Little Mermaid.' As this show involves "Ariel" being flown in a 'mermaid-like' harness, dancers must have strong abdominal and back muscles, beautiful arms, an expressive face and not be afraid of heights.
'Big Band Beat' - Seeking 7 men. All dancers must be trained in jazz with a strong musical theatre style presence. All dancers must tap. Show concept: The Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing.
FEMALE PRINCIPAL VOCALISTS: (Musical Theatre Performers and Vocalists should prepare two vocal selections of contrasting styles (best 16 bars of each). For all vocal auditions, an accompanist will be provided, and you should bring sheet music in the correct key. )
'Diamond Horseshoe Revue' - Seeking 3 Women to portray "Slue Foot Sue". 5'4"-5'9" Has both a Belt and Soprano voice. Versatile performer who moves well. Does not have to be a trained dancer.
'Big Band Beat' - Seeking 2 African-American Women and 2 Caucasian Women. Principal vocalists must be charismatic with strong presence and able to handle basic movement. Ability to tap is a plus. Show concept: The Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing.

'Horseshoe Roundup' - Seeking 3 Men to portray "Diamond Jim." 5'10" - 6'2" Beautiful bright Baritone with rich voice. Winning personality with the ability to interact with the audience.
'Minnie Oh! Minnie' - Seeking 2 tenors. 'Ricky Martin-like'. Great 'pop' feel and style. Movement and ability to sing in Spanish a plus.
'Big Band Beat' - Seeking 2 African-American Men and 2 Caucasian Men. Principal vocalists must be charismatic with strong presence and able to handle basic movement. Ability to tap is a plus. Show concept: The Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing.
DRUMMER/PERCUSSIONISTS
'Kitchen Beat' - Seeking 3 drummer/percussionists. The show is a energized and hilarious set where 3 supposed 'chefs' turn their kitchen equipment into their very own homemade drum kit. The audience soon realize that these are no ordinary cooks.
'Minnie, Oh Minnie' - This show is a Latin influenced Mardi Gras party where 2 experienced and appealing percussionists show off their rhythm and style alongside some of Tokyo Disney's best singers and dancers.
MALE AND FEMALE DISNEY PRINCESS, PRINCE, PETER PAN AND JACK SPARROW LOOK-ALIKE PERFORMERS:
Various Shows and Parades - We are looking for smiling faces to bring to life the heroes and heroines, princes and princesses, from classic Disney animated films. Strong candidates should resemble the Characters in look, height, and personality; have a positive attitude and good speaking voice. Performers will be put through a movement combination as a part of the audition - please come prepared with appropriate dance attire and shoes.
Captain Jack Sparrow -Seeking 2 men. Savvy pirate captain with reckless abandonment. Comedic character with preferred swashbuckling skills, 5'9" - 6'0" typecast by look and build.
