The PAN Orama group is looking for an Event Sales & Marketing Officer who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing activities to increase the profile of the PAN Orama businesses and co-ordination of WA operations for PAN Orama’s various arms including: PAN Events, PAN Event Entertainment and Cultural Infusion (not-for-profit), as well as supporting PAN/CI’s national initiatives and programs. Description:
The Event Sales & Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing activities to increase the profile of the PAN Orama businesses and co-ordination of WA operations for PAN Orama’s various arms including: PAN Events, PAN Event Entertainment and Cultural Infusion (not-for-profit), as well as supporting PAN/CI’s national initiatives and programs.
PAN Event Entertainment (PAN) is Australia’s premier cultural event management company. The team at PAN is respected and renowned within the event and entertainment industry and is supported by a wealth of local and international experience.
This strongly autonomous role comprises mainly business development, sales, marketing, event management and office administration.
The main responsibilities (under Head Office direction) are: account servicing activities including customer relations, bookings, event management, sales, co-ordinating marketing campaigns (including telemarketing), liaison and co-ordination with performing artists and suppliers.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, written/verbal communications skills are also necessary.
The ability to identify prospective clients and markets and adhere to their needs is essential as is confidence for lobbying media, government representatives and industry heads and/or philanthropic bodies when presenting funding applications and/or tender submissions.
Working knowledge of WA Arts/Education sectors will be highly regarded with existing networks within these industries also strongly preferred.
