Actors needed as Hollywood Celebs for monumental short film
Fri, 20 Oct 2006, 03:28 pmI am offering everyone a chance to be in my short film "Errol
Flynn's Pianist" of which RMIT Union has kindly forwarded an Arts
Grant to produce. Having said that, the Grant is very small and
this being my pet project for the year means it's for the love of
it. I am auditioning people to be famous Hollywood celebrities in
the most unconventional fashion. Essentially everyone who turns up
in character will have their role, there are no speaking roles
besides Humphrey Bogart, so if you look and can do a good Bogart
then come my way. The Tuesday night audition is also a fundraiser
for a short Tropfest film, so you never know roles in that may come
your way, it will also be a special trailer screening of our
feature film "The Life O'Simon"
The film is being shot on 16mm and only runs for one minute but it
will be FUN! Celebrating film, celebrity, legend, and of course
Errol Flynn.
To audition please either come to The Arthouse Hotel (cnr of
Elizabeth and Queensbury St) City at 8pm 23rd of October
or more essentially 303 Bar, 303 High St, Northcote 7pm on Tuesday
24th. Try and dress as close to your character as possible.
The available characters are to date:
Humphrey Bogart (speaking role)
Raoul Walsh
David Niven
John Decker (the artist)
John Barrymore (the ghost of)
Olivia de Haviland
Anne Sheridan
Bette Davis
Orson Welles
Alan Hale
Buster Wiles
Jack Cardiff
I also need a male actor who can play the piano.
The shoot is early November, no later then the 14th.
