Ruby Moon

I came across an excerpt from a play called Ruby Moon, by Matt Cameron ( I think). It was only the prolouge and the first scene but it seems like a very interesting play and would love to read the entire thing. I searched on the internet but it isn't at the State Library, the UWA Library or the local Mandurah Library. If any one knows where I could find a copy or comes across in it their travels please let me know !! thanks :)

Hey Kels. Have you tried putting in a request at your local second hand bookstore? They are usually pretty good at finding these sorts of things. Just a thought. I shall take a look see when I'm in town next for you because theres a few second-hand bookstores there that may stock it. I knew I'd seen it before. I sat my written drama exam yesterday and guess what the "unseen text" was? Yep RUBY MOON! I had to physically restrain myself from bursting out laughing! OH god! Haha thats where I saw the play in MY written exam ... haha we must have had the same mock ... I know our paper was bought... ur teacher must have bought the same paper !! lol Its a really good text isn't it ? All that I read was what was in the exam but now I'm really intrigued !! :)

Yes it is by Matt Cameron, it has just recently been added to the yr 12 hsc syllabus this yr, so u should think a lot of ppl are looking for a copy of the text. good luck with ur hunt for the text and have fun reading it.... its very interesting :)

i have a copy of it - it's a beautiful play! It was put on at Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne and was published in association with them too. If you call them, I'm sure you could source a copy from their book shop. Check out www.malthousetheatre.com.au to find their contact details.

i love ruby mooon so much me and my freind studied it for drama and we want 2 learn all the lines and go and see the production at riverside .. eheheh i think she will dress up as ruby i wanna be ray .. haha good stuff
