Sat, 7 Oct 2006, 09:16 pmHi im looking for a experienced balletand or danceteacher or school within the Perth or Mandurah

a 6 week dance course in P.E in 2004.
If anyone goes to or knows of someone good please let me know!

Dance schools/teachers mandurah area
Hi again Kelsi,
Diane Wood school of dance is very popular (in Mandurah) and a lot of MCC students go to her I believe and she also offers a musical theatre program which incorporates ballet, tap and something else - jazz? Not sure... and there is that other ballet school, somebody-or-other Back School of ballet - think she operates out of the dance room at the Performing Arts Centre.
Diane is sometimes at the school - her daughter used to attend? And now I think she has grandchildren there?
You should also ask Shoreina, when school starts again, about the dance school she attends near Rockingham. They are a dance school that specializes in performing arts and theatrical type programs.
When Shania gets swimming out of her system and has time to take up dance, I intend checking that place out for her because from what I have heard it is excellent... especially for those wanting to be in musical theatre when they're older... Shoreina's sister might also know, although I don't know if she attends too.
Cheerio again!

dancing school in mandurah
Hi I can help you out, my son attends Diane wood School of dancing, and can really recommend her 100%.
Diane, does ballet classes, tap classes, jazz classes, and hip hop classes, and also does Theatrical classes, which takes in to account tap, jazz and ballet.
Pupils can take part in exams, and competitions, with entrys in the Mandurah dance Festivals, ( july school holidays) and the Kwinana Dance Festivals ( october school holidays) and a end of year concert.
Diane can also put you through your teachers diplomas too if that is what you want.
It is a very friendly school, and Diane herself is a brilliant teacher, she has done a lot with my son.
The other schools in Mandurah are The kristy Rose Academy of dance out in erskine area, ( towards dawesville)
but not as popular, ( I dont recommend)
The Jennifer Bach school of ballet, she operates from a purpose built building at her home
but you have to audition to get into that school.
Hope this can help you, Iam not being bias I have tried some others we stayed for 2 years.
But if you want to make dancing your career, go for diane wood, hope this can help you.
