Afterlife Productions are hoping to create a dance performance crew. This will be based in Adelaide. I am a dancer, choreographer and singer and I am looking for girls to join me. Using hip hop, funk and contemporary/cabaret styles of dance I am looking for girls who are confident and out-going, to perform at stuff like - nightclubs, fashion parades, own headline performances... skys the limit really! BREAKING GROUND is the first major event of its king in Victoria, offering an intensive 5 day action arts training and performance program with top tutors. They include B-BOY EPIC, fresh from a six month hip hop documentary project in New York, and 3 time OzBBoy Champion LAMAROC, teaching BBOYING, BGIRLING, Popping and Locking. MC’ing and DJ’ing experts, MCLIONES and DJ BACON, and high energy Hip Hop Cabaret choreographer TRAVERS ROSS. A $1000 dollar prize pool cumulates the event on Sat 30 Sep with a HUGE Showcase dance crew battle.

Give it up for GROOVELOCK, the funky ten member Hip Hop Cabaret crew and their fast-moving dance show from 22 year old aussie hip hop creator, Travers Ross. Well renowned throughout NSW, Travers’ high energy choreography saw him recommended for 2005 citizen of the year, and featured on ABC’s ‘Australian Story’, highlighting his journey as a male dancer. The eruption of Hip Hop dance and theatre will breeze through the streets of Melbourne with a juxposition of electric energy, cabaret and dance.
