The Esperance Theatre Guild intends to stage the musical Mame at the end of 2007. For a musical production of this magnitude, we will require a professional or even semi-professional musical director to lead us. The Esperance Theatre Guild is a well-establised amateur repertory company that has been operating from the Bijou Theatre in Esperance since 1971. Our membership boasts many talented performers ranging from individuals who have never stepped out onto stage in front of a live audience before to semi-professional, highly-trained performers. One of the main aims of the organisation is to further professional, artistic development for the community. We have previously benefited from the experience of professional directors. Geoff Gibbs (On Our Selection 1999), Jenny McNae (A Midsummer Night's Dream 2002), Paul McKay (Bye Bye Birdie 2004). We have more recently been assisted by professional costume designer Ann Bramble who created some amazing costumes for our production of Wind In The Willows last year. At this stage, we are only gathering expressions of interest as the guild management committee have yet to approve the production. Anyone seeking further information is welcome to contact me at jesse@westnet.com.au or on (08) 90716026 or 0423931991. Further information on our guild and our previous productions can be accessed through our website at http://www.angelfire.com/wy/bijou Kind regards Jesse Parker Secretary Esperance Theatre Guild Inc.
