Hi All I am getting hitched, and I need a couple of singers for the church. I am looking for classical (ie Ave Maria type gear) voices, female, two or three. Anyone who can reccommend someone, or is someone, who could help, please email me directly. Leah

Hi Leah > I am getting hitched, and I need a couple of singers for the > church. I am looking for classical (ie Ave Maria type gear) > voices, female, two or three. May not be quite what you're after but Sharon and I had a quartet called Psallite perform at our wedding. I don't know whether they're still around, nor do I have contact details for Tonya Lambourne who headed up the group, but perhaps this message will jog someone's memory? They performed acapella. We first saw them perform with a group called Canzonetta. One item, their own arrangement, was all in Spanish. We didn't understand a word of it, but sitting up the back in a cold and drafty church, we were reduced to tears it was so exquisite. A couple of years later, sorting out the order for the wedding service, during an impromptu performance around one of the quartet's kitchen table, they abruptly stopped when Sharon and I were again reduced to tears by just a few bars. Maybe says as much for a couple of silly softies as it does about the quality of the singing, but a number of people commented on their performance on the day. We managed not to cry at that point in the service. ;-) Warmest wishes for the big day. Hope the planning is going well. Cheers Grant
