MIDI in/out, DMX in/out. Can be controlled via MIDI or DMX (I used mine in my duo - in conjunction with my laptop to play pre-programmed light shows in sync with my sequences), or left pot on front can manually select each channel, all channels, or select one of three different chase sequences. Right pot works in conjunction with left pot, and selects one of ten intensity settings, or one of five fade in settings.
LED channel display on front, plus data, error, and temperature indicators. Midi input channel and Octave selectable from front. Unit is three rack units high, and runs at 240v. Works perfectly, with minor wear on front.- photos below show each channel is working. Here's a link to the manual document with full capabilities of unit(116kb) http://people.aapt.net.au/celebritymusic/ebay/DimmerManual.doc
Due to its unique design, the rack will operate simultaneously from MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) the standard lighting protocol DMX-512 and the front panel chaser and focus controls. The rack will respond to the following MIDI Data. NOTE Turns the channel on. VELOCITY Sets the intensity of the channel. GATE TIME Determines the time (in CPT) the channel is illuminated. AFTERTOUCH Paf - Individual channel intensity controlCaf - Universal channel intensity contro.l CONTROL CHANGE cc7 - Universal channel intensity control. PROGRAM CHANGE PG1 - 120 turns a channel on and makes it stick so the channel will remain illuminated when the sequencer stops. PG127 is a master off switch
Design: Microprocessor controlled dimming results in highly accurate control3 Phase and Single Phase unit design Channels: 12 channels each rated to 2400 watts Power: 220/240 volts 50/60 hz per phase Fuses: Individual 10 amp fuse per channel Protocols: 1990 DMX-512 and MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Indicators LED's: 12 - Individual Channel TemperatureDataPower Error Chase Patterns: 3 pre programmed chase patterns with speed control Focus - Intensity: On board control to illuminate individual channels and set intensity for focusing, manual operation purposes. Inductors: High quality Toroidal Inductors (rise
time typical 450msec) give high quality noise suppression.
