New Contemporary Production Company in Sydney Australia specialising in musical theatre and straight plays, looking for up and coming composers and lyrist to be involved in new theatrical ventures within the next twelve to eighteen months.

Similarly, did you hear about the lyricist who wrote a song about his lyrebird collection (he was something of a lyrist, apparently) ?

You're only half wright, Tim.

I too thought that a quip was due about musicians who could play the lyre, but I looked it up and discovered that 'lyrist' is a perfectly correct and valid alternative for 'lyricist'.

Gotta love dictionary.com before jumping the gun...

I am a writer, playwriter and movie director. I've just finished The House, one act drama for 4 actors, 2 female, 2 male, they all play 5 different parts.
