ACOPA is the latest contemporary arts space to open its doors to Melbourne. Situated in the heart of North Melbourne, we offer artists large innovative, creative spaces on any one of four levels that accommodate a variety of functions.
ACOPA is the location for your next:
* Production of Independent Film
* Film location Site
* TV & Advertising location
* Theatrical Production
* Fashion Show
* Workshop, Seminar or Creative Camp
* Music & Literary Performance or Soiree
* CD & Book Launch
* Film & Talent Night
* Art Installation
* Art & Photographic Exhibition
* Rehearsal Rooms
* and other creative/artistic purposes
In the past ACOPA has supported many student theatre productions (from Deakin to our own acting students), the ACOPA End of year Showcase, and are currently working on the production of the independent film, 'Minus 150 Degrees (Working Title)' by David King. We also run workshops in Acting, Improvisation, Movement, Voice, Musical Theatre, Production and Performance Art all year round.?
ACOPA offers more than just creative space. Here, we provide administrative support services, and facilities in production, promotion, networking talent, and marketing for self-devised concepts. Our philosophy is based upon a holistic approach- developing the artist¹s creative abilities and marketing skills. We also provide reasonable rates to the artists and offer long term space hire.
