Hey Guys, I think you will be hard pressed to find a decent Drama school that actually supply you with an agent. But a lot like VCA and the National theatre have showcases at the end of the courses that agents are invited to and then choose who they would like to meet with.
Im sure this is a generalisation, but a lot of agents that carry just the people that have graduated etc aren't that well respected

Drama Schools & Agents
Quite a few promise to get you an agent but what it usually means is that the school and the agency are one & the same.
Here at the National Theatre we invite agents to showcases of graduates of the Diploma of Arts (Acting) which is a 3 year part-time course. A lot of agents also contact us, or ask to attend, when looking for "types" (usually children) as the National also runs courses for children & young adults.
If in doubt about an agency contact the local union (MEAA) as they maintain a blacklist (and a greylist for that matter) of both agents and producers who have behaved badly!!
