I do not know of a theatre in Port or South Hedland.
However there are two theatres in Karratha
Dampier & Districts -

Used To Be A Hedland Theatre Group

There used to be a theatre group in Port Hedland, they used to rehearse and perform in an old building near the RFDS base. Like so may country groups, it expands and contracts with the transient population which has been shrinking over the years as government departments centralise and commercial organisations such as BHP downsize.
There is a "theatre" in South Hedland, the Matt Dann Performing Arts Centre which is part of the SHSHS and local government that is a cornner shape. They show films and have some live shows so that would be a starting point. Either ring the council or the school drama department for details.

The theatre venue in South Hedland is called the Matt Dann Cultural Centre. It's adjacent to the Highschool, and they use it for their drama room. I don't know if there is any actual company that operates in it, I think it's just a community venue.
