In the latest edition of the ITA Link - the next forthcoming production for Phoenix Theatre in Hamilton Hill is
The Diary of Frank Annie
NOT the Diary of Anne Frank

My apologies to Phoenix Theatre.

The Diary of Frank Annie is a comedy about four women and three men away for the weekend – rather different to the story of the Nazi invasion of Netherllands!

"The Diary of Frank Annie"

A Comedy by Louise Neilson
directed by Cheryl Youens and Jane Sherwood

“There are some things you can’t cover up with lipstick and powder…”

Frank AnnieÂ… ItÂ’s about life, itÂ’s about expectations. ItÂ’s about being single in this day and age! ItÂ’s a humorous look at life through the eyes of seven very different characters.

Meet Annie, sensitive, sexy and still single. She looks at life through rose-coloured Ray-Bans; and she’d figured it out, men aren’t from Mars at all. Women are from Mars – men are from Penis!

SheÂ’s planned a girlie weekend away. Recharged her mobile, hammered her credit cards and shaved her underarmsÂ…what could go wrong?

By the wayÂ…Mike and his mates are going away too.

Four women go away with everything perfectly planned and everything goes wrong. Three men go away with nothing planned what so ever and everything goes perfectly right. Champagne and dermabrasion. VB and boardies!

Join Annie and her friends as a fly on the wall, hear the truth as it’s told – girls talk, secret women’s stuff.
