Perth Festival Closing Party
Wed, 1 Mar 2006, 05:47 pmClosing Party for the Perth International Arts Festival (this coming Sunday, 5th March) - Festival Finale in Forrest PLace followed by DJ Russ Jones (UK) on the Verandah!
Lotterywest Festival Finale, Forrest Place, Perth City - 5pm - The Festival ends with the meeting of two cultures in a spectacular crescendo of music and dance. From Japan, master Taiko drummer Eitetsu Hayashi leads a high energy performance of Japanese music with TaikOz and Riley Lee. YouÂ’ll be transfixed by the thunder of the Taiko drums and the amazing physical stamina of the musicians.
Didgeridoo meets Taiko drums as Richard Walley and Middar join the performance. DonÂ’t miss this rare opportunity to witness a sensational gathering of didgeridoo players and dancers under the direction of one of WAÂ’s leading Noongar artists
It's time to party as the sun sets over the Verandah (Perth Concert Hall) for the last time in 2006 and we would like a sea of friendly faces to join us.
