Hi all,

I'm searching for a venue for a school show in the Melbournes western suburbs. The school where i work is in Sydenham, but any suggestions would be great, i know the east and no idea about the west.

cheers
Michael

Re: Finding venues

Or in a few weeks time, try looking here:

http://home.it.net.au/~gmalcolm/?q=venue

or

http://home.it.net.au/~gmalcolm/?q=dolphin_theatre

Venue listings at no charge and productions/auditions added to the site can be linked with venues

:-)

Cheers
Grant

Re: Venue - Melbounre's West

Mike - our school is not too far from you. We generally use the Clocktower Centre in Moonee Ponds and have used the theatre at St Bernards in Essendon in the past. Both are good venues- prospective ticket sales may have some bearing on your choice though. At Clocktower you have very professional staff but you are bound to use and pay for them - theatre seats over 500. St Bernards is smaller and school based (generally a cheaper option) but haven't been there for a while so can't fill in too many details. There's not too much else available any closer.
