Dancing Schools
Tue, 13 Dec 2005, 12:52 pmDoes anyone know of any good dancing schools in Perth (South of the River). I've tried classes at The Dance Workshop on Scarborough Beach Rd, but I'm looking for something closer to where I live. I am interested in adult jazz or hip hop classes. Thanks!

It's not south of the river but close to the city is Spiral Dance in Edward St, Perth. They start up again in February and it is run by Rebecca Laylor (spelling?) who teaches jazz for the BA Music Theatre at WAAPA. She is fantastic - I really recommend her classes - and her prices are great too. $15 for an hour and a half or $10 for an hour. I did jazz this year and there was a range of ages from about 15 to 30ish. Go and give it a try next year - you wont be disappointed.

What level does she teach. I am at an advanced level. Would she suit?
