I.T.A. FINLEY AWARDS

Saturday January 21st, 2006
Penrhos Performing Arts Centre - Como

It's getting close to the end of the year and, before we know it,
the ITA Finley Awards will be upon us. Before any rumors set in let me be the first to say that ticket prices are NOT going to increase.
However, there will be some other changes....

We've all had experience with producing and marketing shows.
We usually get attendance by friends, relatives and club members,
but the General Public can be more difficult to entice.
I don't think any of us have ever wished for fewer members
of the General Public at our shows....

The ITA Finley Awards are no different. We get good attendance from our members and supporters but traditionally little involvement from the General Public. This doesn't just impact on the ITA - of course, the more tickets we sell, the more money we make, the more funds we have for future projects. The ITA is a non-profit organisation, just like all our member clubs, and the more money we make, the more funds we can use in bigger and better productions (DramaFest, Interact, the Finleys) for our members.

For this year's ITA Finley Awards we're going to try something a little different.

The 2005 ITA Finley Awards will be held on Saturday, 21 January, 2006. Based upon the success of last year, the venue once again will be Penrhos College in Como. As usual, tickets will be available to ITA members and member clubs through the ITA at $15/head. Additionally, tickets will be made available to the General Public through BOCS.

The ITA has reserved a limited number of $15 tickets for its members. As usual, clubs are encouraged to contact the ITA and book seats for their members on a first-come, first-served basis. At the same time, the Finley Awards will be advertised through BOCS and tickets will be sold to the General Public at the higher price of $22/head. It is important to us that we keep ticket prices at the same low cost as previous years for our loyal members.

The deadline for reserving $15 tickets through the ITA is December 31st, 2005. After this date, any tickets not sold by the ITA will revert to BOCS to be sold at $22 to the General Public on a first-come, first-served basis.
Of course, ITA members can go straight to BOCS if they choose,
but the ITA is specifically offering this discount ticket price to their members.

For all individual or group bookings through the ITA, at this special discount price,
please contact Robert on 9490 6662 or mobile 0410 647 490
And remember: you only have until December 31st to book! See you at the Finleys!
