short work for accidents and alchemies
Sun, 26 June 2005, 03:00 pmHello
as many of you will be aware, P-Space is facilitating two evenings of short theatre works in august. They are calling for submissions by monday 11th.
I am looking to submit my work, Ophelia Likes Her Tea Black. This is a ten minute piece addressing the realtionship between identity and the physical form (in a nut-shell).
I am seeking expressions of interest from actors for the following roles:
Tessa:
25 - 30
Tessa is recovering from a mastectomy. She questions her femininity after loosing her breast, and consequently her partner's ability to love her as an angrogynous being. She is riddled with self-doubt and externalises this by doubting Lachlan.
Lachlan:
25 - 30
Lachlan is devoted to Tessa. He has nursed her through her illness and been her emotional crutch. Though exhausted and frustrated, his love for her has never waivered.
If anyone is interested, please email head-shot and biog to ericahlovell@gmail.com
Many thanks,
EHL
