R.I.P. Paul Brown - Garrick
Fri, 17 June 2005, 04:04 pmSadly, on Tuesday 14th June, 2005 - long time Life Member of Garrick Theatre Club in Guildford - Mr Paul Brown, passed away suddenly due to a heart attack in the comfort of his home, aged 59 years.

- Garrick Theatre long time Life Member
- Garrick Theatre In House Adjudicator
- Manager of OliverÂ’s Music Hall
- Past President of Garrick Theatre
- Award Winning Director
- President of the Swan Guildford Historical Society
- Past Swan Shire Councillor for the Guildford Ward
- Vietnam Vet
- Founding member and committee member of Guildford Clochemerle Petanque Club
- Secretary of Swan Bowling Club
- Administration Manager of ABC Radio
- and plenty more – a well loved Guildford community member
Paul was due to celebrate his 60th Birthday this Monday the 20th June.
The Garrick Theatre and Guildford Community are devastated and lost for words and wish to advise those who knew Paul and would like to say farewell to our beautiful friend, that his service will be held at Karrakatta Crematorium this coming Thursday 23rd June at 11.30am - followed by a wake at Garrick Theatre Club at approximately 1.30pm.
Paul will be sadly missed by so many.
The Echo Newspaper will be writing a story on Paul's life and his wonderful contribution to the community.
Sympathies to Kevin, Terry, Barbara and families.

59 years young - far too early.
Not only was Paul an active and valued member of Garrick (and many other groups, as Melz described) but he was ALWAYS willing and happy to assist other groups around Perth.
One of WA's theatrical gentlemen. Goodbye Paul.
