The screen awards are a fun event and a good opportunity to meet people and
catch up with people you haven't seen for a while. This year we are
delighted to announce Lois Maxwell (A View to Kill, Octopussy, For Your Eyes
Only) and Bud Tingwell (Ned Kelly, Changi, The Castle) will be our special
guests, with Mark Bin Bakar hosting.
The award ceremony runs for 2 hours and then drinks and canapes (included in
the ticket price) will be served in the Circle Bar from 9.30-11.30pm. The
nearby after-party venue will be announced on the night.
All WASA attendees are entitled to a room discount at Rydges Hotel, across
the road from His Majesty¹s Theatre, just $139 (down from $220) for a double
room including breakfast and valet parking. Call 9263 1800.
This event is kindly sponsored by Screenwest, Lotterywest, ABC Television,
Kodak, AAV, Matilda Bay Brewery, Challice Wines, Rydges Hotel and His
Majesty¹s Theatre.
